Angela holds 3 degrees from The Peabody Conservatory, and now serves on the faculty. Awards include Gold in the MASC Pop Songwriting Contest and "Best of Baltimore" from City Paper. She has performed on many stages throughout the US, from The 9:30 Club in DC, to Skybar in Boston, to Anastasia's Asylum in LA. In 2006 Angela retired from performing to stay home with baby James and husband Dan, but nowdays returns to the stage as opening act of the Taylor House Concert Series. Her influences include Sheryl Crow, Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, and John Mayer.
This performance of Home Cookin' is led by sax player Bob Jacobson, along with George Spicka on piano, Jeron White on acoustic bass.
Bob Jacobson (sax, clarinet, flute) has played in numerous jazz groups to rave reviews including " ... performance was excellent! The combination of old favorites (Cole Porter and Carlos Santana, for example) and some new flavors was incredibly enjoyable."
George Spicka (piano) is a prolific composer of over 600 diverse works ranging from jazz, to electro-acoustic, to new music piano and chamber works.
Jeron White (bass) is a talented acoustic bass player with a wide and varied gig roster all over Baltimore.
